GQ Orange warning light meaning?

Hi there,

Don't have an owners manual and can't find details in the repair manuals - I have a warning light that has come on in the dash top right hand corner:

Anyone able to explain what this means please?

I have two instrument clusters laying around and checked them out of curiosity. None of them have visible graphics on this position.

FYI, mine are both from a manual transmission diesel. If diesel it could be the glow plugs, specially if it comes off after a few seconds. If yours is automatic it could be something related to the auto-gearbox, like when you hit the power button or OD off, for example.

Could you give a bit more info like year, location, diesel and auto/manual. Would help to narrow it down.

been a lot of years since I had a GQ but IIRC on my Auto Tranny TB42 that is the ATF Temp Warning and should be labelled AT Temp or somesuch, if your vehicle is a manual tranny you possibly have a wiring issue in the loom or crap in the plug or somesuch.
