    Water leak - solved

I’ve had carpet wet after rain. I sealed firewall holes which didn’t fix it. I reseated the windscreen which didn’t fix it. I taped the rear side windows which did.

This has completely solved my leak into the cabin.

I used t-Rex water proof tape. It’s very aggressive adhesive and uv stabilised. $20 for 2m from Bunnings. You’ll need two rolls to do both rear windows.

I found that the window which was fitted just before I bought my Patrol, had the corners made with too much radius cut, which let water dribble in. A thin bead of Sikaflex around the rubber at the corners fixed it.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
