    GU 2.8 Hoses

I'm after a full set of SILICON hoses - radiator and heater - for my 2.8.
Any idea where I can get some?

Good luck with that. Some Chinese joint off eBay if you lucky. Why Silicon?

Silicon lasts longer and does not swell from oils etc.

I used the standard factory rubber ones for years without issue or swelling when running a glycol coolant. When I changed to soluble oil I started to strike problems with hose sweating, however it turned out to be the coolant was the issue, so changed to a different brew and all good. I did look at silicone however someone on here raised a technical point about a negative - can't recall the comment though, but was enough to stop me going the silicone path as well.
