Door fob reprogramming help! Please

I've got an issue in my GU 2 where when I press the power lock button inside the door (located next too the windows button) it locks everydoor except my driver's one.
I can lock & unlock doors with the switch on door Handel
I'm trying to program my new key and I need it to lock the drivers door so I can enter program mode?. I think I've tried every way they say , key 6 times it does unlock (no flashers)
Then I tried acc, press new remote then acc, lock door, press new remote, ign on, press new remote, ign on, lock door, press new remote. I tried the same with the other switch on arm rest. There's more than the 4 ways in posts some say acc others to on. Its a 2002 td30 any ideas
