Hi all I have a 03 GU zd30 I have been led to believe there is a known problem with the oil light staying on
The fix to it is a new resistor

The oil light staying on is from two reasons i can think of. Low oil pressure or the sender unit is stuffed. I'd rather fix the issue than putting a band aid on it....

My oil light has been on for a year. I know it's a known issue with the pressure switches with these vehicles.

The oil is full and it still turns black over 4000-5000kms which shows it's doing it's job so I'm not fussed.

My dirtbikes have never had oil lights and they still work.
