    Sump guard that suits rhino front bar

    Hi all, just looking to get some underbody protection put on my series 5, specifically for sump protection, the rhino bar gives some coverage but looking for some further protection. Anyone recommend any specific brand, and if compatible with the rhino front bar?

    Hi mate,

    I have an S5 and a Rhino bar. The front bash plate is pretty good. I have a full set of bash plates that I have not fitted yet but expect that they should bolt up ok.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Cheers mudrunner. Can I ask what bash plates you got? I’ve seen dash Offroad
    Do a 3mm and other brands running 4mm.

    Am being mindful of weights. Speaking with rhino I have the winch and bar and I’m within the requirements for Nissan. As for under body it’s not soo much that I’m going to bash it. But it is nice to have some insurance to stop a rock shattering the cast sump. That’s the main reason. My off roading is relatively light compared to the basher types
