    Disable electric aerial

    Hi all,

I had my aerial ripped out months ago and have been getting by with a coat hanger.
The issue is that the electric motor still runs every time I start or stop the radio.
What is the easiest way to disable the power up/down? Pulling the plug stops the radio from working.
    TIA
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

I just found the plug in the LHS kick panel and unplugged it from memory. There is a trigger wire in the loom to the aerial, not sure which one though. Cut that. Or remove the earth wire attachment to the motor?

I thought the plug in the LHS is for the SW antenna on the ST's. I will try unplugging it.

Honestly can't remember which plug but I followed the loom from within the kick panel to the aerial. Or did I unplug it from the motor itself? I do remember taking the time and removing the inner part of the guard to access the aerial. Maybe it was that. Sorry it was a long time ago....
