Lol. Nah mate it is in both front doors. Side Impact protection. I have the inner skin off the rear door too and it is not in the rear side doors, just the front doors. 8 had never considered that it wasn't on every door to be honest! Maybe series 2 and Mavs got it. What year is Phils. Does his front doors have this?

Realistically how much protection would that pissy little bar provide? For low speed scrapes maybe but actual side impact I'd say bugger all if anything mate.

Bugger all to be honest but in 1992 it was next gen... lol. It's interesting to look in the door Without the bar though!!! There is literally 2 pieces of panel steel between you and whatever hits you... cars have come a long way!!
