Creaky steering.
Hi guys.
I'm getting a creaking sound when I'm turning my steering wheel. It's coming from inside the cabin so I know it's not the box or the outside steering components. I have a leak coming from the top of the windshield over the driver's side and I believe that water has gotten into the steering inside. What can I do to stop the noise?

I had a similar creak on my clutch pedal, just use some grease, or of it's too hard to apply in that space, some oil using a tin oil can with a thumb pump.

Where on the steering wheel would I apply the grease/WD40?

The way I located it on my clutch pedal was to put my head in the footwell area and press the pedal with my hand. If you can do the same and turn the steering wheel, you might hear/see where the contact point is - I would guess on the steering column?
I just used some WD40 to start with which removed the squeaking on my pedal but it didn't last long, so applied grease.
