Hello all I just acquired my first patrol last week and I really want to put a 6.6ltr duramax in it but my mate keeps telling me I would run a too big of a risk of flipping it 4wding up hills, I cant seem to find anyone else that's put a duramax in a SWB patrol anywhere I'm thinking maybe because my mate might be right? Can someone please tell me my mate is wrong so I can start building it haha. Thanks in advance 🤙
Any powered SWB can honestly/scarily flip on decent gnarly incline tracks if you’re not steady on the peddle, they physics wise do have a disadvantage in length against LWB mountain climbers.
A GU Duramax Weapon SWB cleverly driven could score some serious points though on the sandy flat stuff
Most notably the oil filter adaptions to squeeze a Duramax into a GU, if we can put a man on the moon, someone like your good self can Duramax the sh@t out of a GQ Shorty
