    Tuning TD42 after intercooler install - ??

A few months ago I had a turbo fitted to my GQ, and it had the dyno tune done. All running fine.

Last week I decided to fit an intercooler, so I bough the HPD 450x300x76mm core and fitted it myself. My first thought was, I'll have to go take it back for a dyno re-tune, but after speaking to the bloke at the shop he said it's not worth it, since it's not a boost-compensated vehicle it would make no difference. He said all they would do is wind in the fuel pump screw until the exhaust was getting a bit sooty, and then back it off a quarter turn.

That seems pretty basic, and I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to make sure I am reaping the full benefits of the intercooler?

    cheers

You'll need them to be able to adjust the pump safely.
Get the gauges then increase fuel 1/4 turn at a time until you see 550 Max going up a good hill with your foot into it.
