    Worth considering good old Gumtree for possibly a ripper deal on a pair of steel H or I beams floating around a farmer’s paddock.
    Not sure about your block but steel would be our best option down here in the Termite Hills, little pricks of things

    Yeah, I’ve been looking at these. 2.4 long
    They look like they would handle a bit

    They would be my choice for sure
    Another imperative thing to make sure of that when you bolt or screw the sleeper boards down that all grains are pointing downwards. If they are ‘concave’ pointing upwards to the weather the cores/heartwood will start popping up

    Steel would awesome. If you are going the Ironbark I reckon it would fine assuming you aren't sending a 60t B Double over it.

    As MB wisely stated "on its edge mate." 100%
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
