Mercedes OM606 diesel in to a gu
There is a bloke in the uk making adaptor for an OM606 mercedes diesel to a gu (zd30). Unfortunately i dont think the OM606 was released here in aus which sucks.

As an owner of a 1975 Mercedes 450 SEL and a Y60 TB42e Patrol I have the best of both worlds. That diesel unfortunately wasn't imported here but I'm sure it could be found and brought in if you have deep pockets.

Would be very keen to drive one, they're an insane motor but would be really interested how they perform low down. The old TD no where near screams like or puts out the figures an OM is capable of but pulls mega hard down low which is where you want it on step off road stuff. If it does could be the perfect engine conversion . . .
