    From what you have written earlier you had full power before the rebuild but without a boost gauge can only assume you were getting full boost from the old turbo, so the problem has only occured post rebuild.
    First you need to establish that the fuel system is working correctly, if the ECU is limiting fuel for some reason there will not be enough heat in the exhaust to spin the turbo up to full boost. This is where a pyro gauge is useful. If boost and EGT's are down then there would seem to be a fueling issue, if boost is down and EGT's are up then fueling is OK and it would indicate a turbo issue. It's possible the boost limiting grub screw on the turbo is out of adjustment.
    Have you done a code test yet?

    Ye mate done a code test and every thing is good, we did have a bit of play with the wastgate adjustment and only did a bit of diferance witch I thought it would as I'd say the ecu has taken over.

    If the turbo you fitted has a wastegate then it's the wrong turbo, Patrol ZD30 has variable nozzle instead of a wastegate.

    Your turbo should look like this;

    Sorry mate mighten be a wast gate then. It's the vacume rod between the intake and exust of the turbo. SORRY I hope this helps. but it is the same as the one that came out except this one isn't water cooled.

    All good mate.

    Top right of this image it shows a grub screw. The text below it says to wind it down but you would want to go the other way to try to get more boost.

    Hi Tony, I have adjusted that grub screw today and it made a bit of diferance but not that much.It seems to pull ok in 1st 2nd and 3rd but lags in 4th and 5th. I'll take it for a run on the week end and see if there is any differance. Other than that I'll look at puting it on a dyno. or just burn it.haha
