    Oil pressure TB42E

What should the oil pressure gauge on my old (380k+klm) GQ dual fuel indicate at normal highway speeds ?
At approximately 100kph and 2200rpm, oil pressure sits at about 6 for the first 5 to 10 klm then slowly drops to just over 4 on the gauge. It remains happily at that figure until the trip is finished - several hours. I have changed oil and filter but this has made no difference. Is this anything to worry about?

I missed this thread. Considering aged Nissan Gauges are more like guidelines than rules...

Oil gets thinned out as it heats up, so the pressure does drop. 4 is OK. Check the connector at the oil switch, just in case it has come loose, corroded or the wires are loose at the crimp. Mine gained half a point when I replaced the lugs.
