Front double cardan prop shaft
Anyone run a double cardan front prop shaft? I need one to get rid of the vibration when in 4wd at speed. I'm just concerned about the cardan joint hitting the crossmember when the front right droops?
The conspiracy theorists were right!

Could you just run the joint at the diff end?
I haven't run a double cardin joint, but I have scalloped out the crossmember for drive shaft clearance.

It's the transfer end where the angle is the problem.putting the cardan on the diff end defeats the purpose.
My old GQ 6" lift had the same vibration issue, i notched the crossmember for that one because the standard prop shaft hit. Never bothered with a cardan for it. I reckon this GQ (only 4" lift) vibrates worse. Been so long since I did the notch on that one, can't remember if there would be enough meat to take out to clear the cardan joint.
