Advanced
radiator/head issues
hi all, hope everyone's got hte shiny side up
i have just fitted a td42 engine to my petrol mav
the engine ahs been sitting around for about two years give or take
i've replaced pretty much everything on it except the head and head gasket
problem is i'm getting bubbles in the radiator
i pretty much know what everyone is going t say, head or head gasket
well i was wondering if there any other problems (not likely) that may cause a radiator to bubble at a rate of about 1 bubble every 5 to 10 seconds. i'm hoping that i just have to keep bleeding the system a few more times, get a few heat cycles into the block and all will be well.
any info would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

When you bleed the cooling system park the car on a slope with the front up, it helps get the air out.
Get a TK headtest done, it's a quick test to check for exhaust gas in the cooling system, if you were up this way I could do it for you.

Is there also getting oil in your cooling system, and/or coolant in your oil system, or is it just pushing gas in your cooling system?
