    Tb45 fuel filter

Would there be any problems if I was to smear a small amount of vaseline over the end of the filter. Just to make it easier to slide the hoses off next.

Use a food grade grease. Mineral based products degrade the rubber. Or so I've been told.

A tiny amount would be fine. I never worried about it though. The amount of times I change that filter, grazing a knuckle or two isn't so bad.
