    Planning an S5 Y62 Build

Hopefully Daz your GVM upgrade includes a front end weight increase too as 04OFF Mate kindly and certainly just educated me too to legalities of an OEM under thought of design for Aussie’s needs touring?
There is definitely nothing sexier than hearing a fresh Y62 highway blasting past us out here in the NT hauling huge vans @130kmph.
Thankfully they’re all parked up late afternoon enjoying sunsets as those truly/honestly magnificent steel bumper bars without twilight headlight or radiator protection would never make it through the first smallest “animal strikes” of your original valid concerns.

FWIW: In fairness I accidentally struck a Kamikaze Native Dove around midday today on the front diff pumpkin, fat little fella shook the whole old ute, feathers galore out back, bullbar proper protection hoops and all wouldn’t have stopped his football size taking out a precision dive bomb headlight easily

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
