Trip to Newman what a load of ....LUCK
Hows this for luck Newman is 1200kms north east of perth .....as i was packing up the car the missus said to me are you taking your welder i said na what for????? then last minute decision what the hell chuck it in you never know hey so i did then i was looking for my air matress pump in the garage and i stumbled accros a new wheel bearing kit for my trailer and then spotted a new front wheel bearing kit for the old troll and i thought yeah why not so that went in thenas i was walking out the door my 16mth old had grabed a peice of 10mm copper line off my computer desk and gave it to me as i was saying good byes to the family for my big adventure .......well 450kms out of perth i broke a spring hanger on the trailer .....so out comes the welder and i welded it up ......then 150km south of newman i done the wheel bearing it was dark and i was in the middle of nowhere but i had a new kit and a genset and a grinder and lighting so 4 and a half hours later im back on the road.......week in newman goes by and we are heading home and come accross a man and his wife on the side of the road 650km south of newman with a broken fuel flexi line in which i patched up with some copper pipe my son gave to me which will get them back to mandurah so yeah its been quite a week
