I’m perplexed sorry Gentlemen, haven’t properly owned a Mogas daily vehicle in a long time. All nuffy though, if said faults are explosions throughout the exhaust and then also throughout the intake wouldn’t that described mean a donks valves are open at incorrect times?

Yup. Or unburnt fuel is getting into the exhaust. Timing is usually the main cause. The unburnt fuel ignites while, as you posted, the intake valve is open.

Update:
Retired it several times and now it will rev up but still won’t idle and is hard to start and every now and then when I go to start ya go jumps everywhere and starts backfiring again.
Going to replace intake gasket and see if that makes a difference

i know you had to disconnect a couple of the solenoids at the back of the inlet to time them properly in diagnostic mode, off the top of my head they ran 15deg of timing at idle normally(i had an ecu talk on mine so could read the ecu in real time) to check the inlet gasket spray some start ya bastard at the manifold-head join withit running and note if the rpms change

Gotten it to run a bit better and is timed to 15 degrees btdc. And it still won’t idle properly and seems to be running pretty fat. Is there a way to adjust fuel mixture?
