Y61 ZD3.0 engine mounts

Hi all,

I have to replace the engine mounts of a Patrol GR Y61 2005 ZD30DDTi from my friend, but it seems that the classic procedure of removing them from below after lifting the engine does not work, because after increasing 3/4 cm it hits the bulkhead of the engine compartment( egr cooler ? ) and does not allow it to be lifted further 3/4 cm to be able to remove the supports ......
so i am wondering if there is a trick or if i should remove them from the engine bay after removing a component (egr cooler ) that is hindering further uphill ...
