Help with wheel offset please
Hi all, I've got a stock 01 gu and looking to put on a set of 285/75r16 or possibly 305/75r16 mtz and fit to a set of 16x8 dynamic d-window wheels.
I'm tossing up what offset to get, possibly-13.
I want to keep the tyre treads under the factory flares/ guards without any mods.
I've tried a 16x8 -22 roh steel wheel with a 285 goodride tyre on and looked fine, then I tried a -8 landcruiser wheel fitted with a 285 mtz and spaced it another 5mm to bring it to -13 offset and the treads were only just under the stock flares, with all of the side lugs poking out.
What offset do you guys use, with 285 mtz?
Did a quick search but didn't find a lot, in a hurry.
Pic of the mtz at -13
Thanks

These are BFG km2 305/70/16 on
16x8 -13 ROH
Drivers side does stick out a little.
Car as 2 inch lift and have never had a problem with the boys in blue regarding tyres sticking out.
Hope this helps....

Unless I've stuffed up measuring the offsets its all got me really confused, but the owners told me the offsets, and it worked out correct.
Do you get any tyre rub anywhere?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
