replacement crd fuel filter water level sensor

    G'day folks,

I'm keen to find a replacement water level sensor which fits the bottom of the OEM crd fuel filter (don't necessarily need it, just thought it would be good to have in the spares box).

So far 30 mins of googling reveals nothing except the screw in type which is different.

The water sensor to my knowledge isn't removable or replaceable. A new filter will come with a new sensor, so if you want a spare you could just keep a new fuel filter on hand.

The sensor turns and pulls out of the bottom of the filter when changing.

The filters I've bought (transgold) haven't included a new sensor.

I just looked up the OEM filter does include a sensor, which is probably why it is so much $$.

Thanks, I'll get one of those.

My close friend's new Patrol project may need to replace the water level sensor as well, along with a new exhaust. We'll just finish installing the brake kit and smittybilt tailgate on the Jeep this week before we can take a closer look.
