    larger tyres

    Hi guys,poopsie here,just got my 2016 patrol back with its new ls3 and marks adapters kit.Absolutly great conversion,goes awsome and sounds great.I want to put 285/70/17 all terrain tyres on it but how can you fit the spare tyre on the standard tyre holder on rear door,thanks guys.

    There is a spacer you need to get mate quite easy to find. also keep an eye on the rear door with bigger spare they flex and over time crack but its a relatively simple fix for an engineer or panel beater. Ls3 patrol sounds amazing!!

    Thanks for your reply,really can not see any positives for putting a better diesel in a patrol.The new crate ls3 has 425 hp and cost 11,ooo dollars and parts are cheap,no turbo,no egr,no dpf,no expensive fuel pumps etc.Can you put a smaller tyre on one axle if you get a flat[eg,265/70/17] when other tyres are 285/70/17 without damaging anything.Patrol does not have lsd but has difflock.,thanks a lot for replys.

    The factory rear lsd in my gu works bloody well!!!! Have to be real careful in the wet or gravel. Sounds like alot of fun mate can get a pic of that bracket if you need it

    If you want to go all large on your Nissan Patrol, then these Dick Cepek tires might be right up your alley. Not only are they high-quality, but they're very affordable as well.
