The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

More on the dont touch the stick story.
Photo of the missus this time sitting in the co captains chair on the bridge of "Eagle" a cruise ship out of Strahan in Tasmania
The skipper said to her that she could have a play with the little stick (the joy stick on her right hand side) All functions of control are handled with this stick. Missus wouldn`t touch it. She then explained that as she had been told by a Chopper pilot never to touch the stick she wasn`t going to play with it. After the bridge settled down from the laughter, she did have a play and took control for a couple of minutes.
A couple of weeks later we were in the pub at Derwent Bridge when we had a chance meeting with the skipper. Yes, he remembered us. We had a very pleasant evening as we all dined together and shared some good stories over a couple of rums.
