Towbar kit and roof rack

Hi,

Hope everyone has enjoyed a good Easter break.

I own a Y62 2020 and now I am starting to add more features.

I would like to start from towbar kit and roof rack, later on bullbar, snorkel, towing mirror...


For towbar:

1. which one would like recommended for Y62 2020?

2. is it better to be installed with predator rear bar?

3. is it hard to fit DIY?


For roof rack:

1. which one would like recommended for Y62 2020?

2. if I want to build a tent on top of it, any roof rack can do?

3. I watch youtube and it looks fitting it is easy, so DIY mostly?

If I was doing it over again I would;

Towbar - get a rear bar professionally fitted, much more versatile and you can carry a fully inflated 35 inch spare in the normal spot.

Roof Rack - get a platform not a basket ( I had a 2100 x 1380 basket style Rhino Rack) of whatever manuf floats your boat and DIY, piece of piss to fit and the platform makes less wind noise.

Do you mean the kaymar rear bumper which got towbar integrated? that's over $2000 I reckon, if getting HR 3354RW fitted, it's only around $1300. But as you advised the spare and the fuel tank is a major plus.

For roofrack, not sure is the rhino one good?

Particularly if you want to pick up lengths of wood/etc from bunnings.
