Hello From Balgowlah
New to Australia and needed a vehicle. After much deliberation over what model to get, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2000 Patrol. It met all our requirements. Had to seat 6 mostly comfortably at least, 4WD, and be popular enough to find parts everywhere in Australia. It is the ST4500 model.
I am a panel beater by trade but I don't think I need much bodywork. There's only a few things wrong with this one that I am aware of. The "SUBTANK" light is one which I hope to remedy with a ground strap and the dome light stays on. Maybe the two are connected.
I'm looking forward to getting out and exploring Australia.
