HI, I am going to fit my Redarc oil pressure gauge on the weekend, the sender for the gauge has a 1/8 npt thread, is that the same as the sender in the 4.8?

G’day PG Mate!
Please don’t take this as Gospel and hopefully a 4.8L or any other same metric Japanese donk Gurus can chime in
NPT as far as I understand is Yanky with a slightly different thread pitch?
Have purchased Yanky NPT contraptions for my 6.5L Chev to Japanese conversion before and found if I recall correctly they screw in carefully to half way was all that I needed low pressure wise.
Could be horribly wrong though ??

It seems a lot of vehicle sensors use a 1/8 npt thread.
I am just trying to confirm if the Patrol 4.8 sensor is a 1/8 npt, before I get a T piece adapter, for the sensors
Went to Enzed, they found me a T piece for the sensors, the OEM thread is 1/8 bsp
