Steel Rims for a 2012 GU.
Hi all,
I am looking at buying a set of steel rims/wheels for my 2012 GU. I would be grateful if anyone could recommend a supplier of quality wheels. Also has anyone put larger wheels on their rig? I am thinking of going up in size from 17 to 18 or 19.
Cheers all, Brian.

ROH used to be good quality rims. I bought a Trak 2 rim as a spare. It started rusting around the cut outs within a couple of months. Got another under warranty, and it was rusty within 12 months. Kept under cover, never used on road.

‘Dynamic’ brand for steelies are great too Brian. Definitely steel is the go for off-road strength especially if you’re going so tall, there won’t be much rubber between your rims and rocks at say 20psi. Have personally never gone bigger than 15&16” rims on 35”/315 tyres and still have had to sledgehammer them straight from time to time during and after nasty rock adventures.

Yep. ROH Track 2's mate. Don't skimp of steelies. I've seen a few of the cheapies separate from the rim itself. The ROH rims are a not a lot more in $$$ too.
