Front tube bar
What do you recommend.
I'm getting raslarr sliders and scrub bars, but I'm not convinced on their bars. The black bar is the old style and the tan colour is their new style. They look the same to me.

G’day John Mate!
1st & 2nd photo don’t appear to be working on my icrapple?
Tube bars IMHO (front & or rear) although extremely functional and cost less generally I believe they might attract extra unneeded attention from Mr Plod down here in the Mexican Alps outskirts
Not sure what reasonably priced plate/folded functional bars are available for GU’s these days though?

Get your old bar sandblasted and powdercoated. Did this with my ARB bar, also got new rubber over riders and stickers from ARB. Its looking brand new.

Gday JC. Same as MB couldn't really see anything in your pics but I checked the website. I would be asking what wall thickness they're using on their sliders. Anything less than 4mm I'd be expecting budget pricing and not expecting stiffness. Do not go for open sliders. You will get sill damage from strong sticks or branches that get caught up in them and rotate around to gouge your sills out. Seen it happen. Scrub bars I suppose could be less structural depending on panel clearance and if you're not leaning against buffalo in the NT!

Yeah fair call. Tube bars in my eyes change the look dramatically and can make a Patrol "cop bait" as MB said. If your set on a tube bar, have a look at the Milweld range. MB has one of their bars, I have one of their rear bars and build quality is awesome. Can't fault it.

Front tube bar
Unfortunately my older GU Millweld tube hybrid front bar I don’t believe is manufactured anymore 🥲
Maybe like Mr Mudski kindly mentioned, pimp up your old ARB type bar John?
EDIT: Unsure of your Airbaggy compliance vehicle age if chopping up existing bar edges for attack angles Johnstar ?

Sliders are made out of 50mm od with 3.2 mm wall and I'm getting these top plates, but not green..
