Had never seen them. What would be the advantage over the standard 'hand throttle'?

I have almost never used the standard hand throttle whilst driving, but on the occasions I did it was to set RPM's at the bottom of a hill, & not something to alter as I negotiated the hill. For that the normal accelerator pedal & a 'braced' foot seem better, with 'fine adjustment' if needed using the clutch. Didn't really like it though.

Perhaps there is a 'location advantage' in fitting one given the location of the factory item ......if being used & revs altered as you negotiate the obstacles?

Reality is I expect that using a hand throttle in that way is something which takes a fair bit of practice & most folk are more competent with the standard foot accelerator .

Perhaps more applicable to competition cars or purely off road toys??
