Oil catch can

Hi all, just doing up a 2004 patrol z30 turbo diesel,fitted a Tillix booster best thing ever done working well,fitted a oil catch can Pro Vent 200 well it looks identical all the way through the pressure valves etc but it seems to allow some gases past the top cap thread is this normal or i have high gas pressure blowing back,looked through all forums no one has ever mentioned this occurrence before, thx.
