    door catches/door seals

Hi guys poopsie here, thanks for all the good information. My question is can the door locks/catches be moved inwards by loosening screws. My 2016 window frames make a lot of noise when hitting bumps and can be pushed in a few mms by hand.thanks for any answers.

    Hey mate,

I believe you adjust the bump stop, or pack it out rather than adjusting the lock. Happy to be corrected but adjusting the lock/catch will potentially alter the height and alignment which is undesirable. Try adding some single sided foam packer or if you can find it, glazing tape an see how that goes for you?

    Cheers rusty

The door catches have a plastic covering on them. Usually this plastic wears out over time where the door lock hooks onto it. Making the door a wee bit lose when closed. The cheapest way is to flip the catch so the lock is grabbing onto a new bit of plastic. And I think you can tap the catches in a bit too. I cant remember to be honest about that though.
