97 GQ wiper motor.... After market?
Morning all. As the thread title suggests I have a problem (again !!) with my wiper motor.
Replaced the original two years back with a wreckers unit. Now same same problem. Goes into park on intermittent and pops the fuse.
Turns out to be a short in the motor itself. I can source a new unit ex Japan for $610.00, pricey and a delay.
Do any of the gurus of auto 'leccyness know of an after market supplier for same?
TIA Rob

Wow! seems to be an unusual fault to be honest. How much for a second handy? i would go a second hand to be honest. seems a waste. If they are $100 from a wrecker then you are 12 years in front... or the next one lasts a life time.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy -->

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

You're right of course my tight fisted mentor! Did the math you suggested and figured I could
replace it a half dozen times and still be in front.
Ordered ex Yatala wreckers for $65.00 delivered. Bargain!
