My previous vehicle had rattly hub caps (just caps - nothing serious).
Anywhere I took it to get work done, they would try to fix the rattle and I was repeatedly unfixing it because that's how people knew it was me coming down the road.
People would say, "your car is making a rattling sound" and I would say "yes"

Get rid of the auto plate out of the hubs. 5 minute job.
Problem fixed.
Then it's either engaged or disengaged.
