Where can I obtain the copper washers / seals for the high pressure power steering li

    Hi

Replacing the high pressure line on a GQ TB42 carby. There is copper washers on the banjo fittings.
I've been to and called countless stores but no-one has something similar local.
Patrolapart has them but I'll have to wait on shipping etc.

Where did everyone else obtain theirs?

What size are they mate? Not hard to find, I sell 12mm and 14mm ones at work. Any Diesel injector mob would have oodles of them in various sizes. Theres nothing special about them, other than being made from copper.

    Pump x 2:
    49726Y0100

    ID: 16.00mm
    OD: 22.46mm
Thickness: 1.37 (so perhaps 1.5mm as its already been compressed?)

    PS Box (2x per line):
    4972650W00
    ID: 14mm
    OD: 20.23
    thickness: 1.4mm so probably 1.5MM?

No luck on the pump washers. The only ones I found had a much smaller OD or were much too thin.
Repco carries one which might work for the box; OD is 22.22mm and I have not checked to see if it is too large.

Considering I'm so busy with study I won't get a chance to try anymore stores let alone get under the car for a week or two.

Tried diesel pump + copper washers on eBay and guess what; 150 washers, 15 different sizes, including the two I need, and others that match sump plugs I have, delivered for $28.

No idea on quality but we'll soon see.

I'm still curious who would have these in stock and sell individually.

Tried them. Only stocked in Victoria. Quite a bit more expensive than Patrolapart and and no idea how long it would take to arrive. :-)

Pretty sure I seen those little "grab kits" hanging off the wire racks in places like Super cheap or Repco etc etc with them. They are only copper washers, as long as they are the right ID, don't get too caught up in the finer detail about them. Maybe looks on the Champion fasteners website too. If they sell them, so will the car places.

I've seen for sale in AliExpress some small organizer boxes with an assortment of copper washers. They also have those assortment kits for o'rings, blade fuses and other handy stuff. I've got an o'ring kit and it saved my bacon a couple times already.
