All in a days work mate. Not that much work there, especially when the wife gets on the tools to help!

Maybe small amounts mate. It's just sitting on a chassis and screwed directly too it. From my research the water damage mostly comes when the van is packed down and the rain run off dribbles it's way in to the corners.

Nearing the end of my half wall/ fence. My custom fab brackets came out great. I’ve ordered the Stratco CGI mini cladding to go on the back side of the frame. Just need to stain it first.
Also my new bbq will be going there so I have to run hot and cold water, gas and a drain for the sink before the cladding goes on.
My only gripe is the timber for the left cross brace is lighter in colour. But once stained and mostly hidden it will barely be seen.
I’m quite chuffed how well this came out as I’m definitely no ace when it comes to working with wood.

    Weekend projects

    99% finished project.
I’ve run the lecky gpo, just need to do gas, hot and cold water and a drain for the sink on the bbq.

Quite happy how it’s turned out.

This is the prototype bracket I designed and welded up to support the 100mm posts. Drilled and chemset’d studs into the top of the sleepers. Worked out well.

    Weekend projects

And another thing ticked off the list.

    From this.

    To this…

    To this…

I’ve been going at this for maybe four weeks. Doing maybe an hour each night.
I’m quite pleased how they came out. First time doing something like this too.
Thanks again to Nic for the timber and the advice.
Looking forward to sourcing more timber to resurrect for future projects now. I got the bug…

Rip snorter mate! Great to see someone achieve such good results when it's not their strong suit. Well done Marko!

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
