    rocker assembly

Hi everyone ,was wondering if anybody could help me out with the torque settings for tightening down the rocker assembly on a 4.2 petrol in a 1990 patrol, I have just changed the head and was given all the headbolt settings and valve clearances but not the torque settings for the rocker ,so i would greatly apreciate any help .

I don't torque my rocker adjustment lock nuts, I just lock them up tight with a spanner & I've never had one cove loose yet But I think the setting is 25fp.

Rocker shaft bolts torque setting is 16-19Nm.
Rocker arm lock nut torque setting is the same but like Patch I only ever tighten them up with a spanner.

    Hi guy's
When rocking over the valve gear and checking it. go over it twice and don't turn the engine back as the valve lash will close up the clearance. Keep the engine rotating the one way. Do it when hot. For the real keeennn Love my nissian, do it every time you change the oil. IF not check it. look after the little bones.
