    GQ roof console, what to change?

    So I'm in the process of making up a roof console with a uhf in the middle and switches at either side with a sunglasses holder underneath with lights but might just change that part to just lights to keep it a bit more simple, what would you guys do different? Looks? Shape??
    End result will be fibreglass wrapped in fabric.

    This forward GQ console works for me Ben Mate, it holds plenty of Caper paper and Glen 20 in these interesting times :-)

    Personally can’t drive GU’s or even worse GQ’s with the full center divider roof consoles being a mere 183cm in temple smashing head height for me over rocky cab rolling/bouncing.
    Personally again prefer not getting slapped in the face by UHF cords too mate so prefer them mounted down below.
    Each to their own and I’m sure touring type applications would be different again mate

    Yeah I have this console in my GQ too and it's pretty good. I might have head butted it a couple of times for sure (Read #justsendit) but a centre one would get painful quickly. I also agree, stuff hanging down drives me bonkers.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
