    This Weekends Projects

It's time for a service on my beloved Y60 TB42e. So I figured while I'm at it I'd knock out a few of those jobs that have been sitting on the ole "gunna" list for a while. I'm onto my 6 days off from tomorrow and I'm expecting a delivery of oil and filters from Repco sometime today.

    So, the list.........
New front and rear swaybar mounts and extended links.
Install new rocker cover gasket, check valve clearances at the same time.
Drop the fuel tank, give it a bloody good clean out and replace fuel pump.

Reason for the tank clean is last service the fuel that came out of the fuel filter was as blacker than my mother in laws soul. I know the fuel pump is on it's way out and I've been carrying around a new one for a couple of months in case of sudden failure. I didn't want to install the new one until I'd scrubbed out the tank unless I had too.

I'll post some photo's of all the fun and swearing once I'm done.

If you've done any of the above before and wanna throw any of your learnings and advise at me I'm all ears, or let me know what your next project is.

    Have a crackin day 😎🤘

Good looking set up. If you are going to do a lot of offroad towing, I would suggest strengthening the rear spring towers with either a bolt on kit or welded brace.

That would make sense. What specific brand of bolt on kit or welded brace would you recommend?
