GU Y61 ZD30 Single Cab AirCon Thermo Fan?
Hi
Just wondering how common it is/was for the Single Cab's not to have a AirCon Thermo Fan?
My 2013 single Cap looks like it never had one, and I did notice back in January the AirCon did get slight warmer when sitting in Traffic, so I've been toying with the idea of sourcing a Thermo Fan and installing it before summer comes around again, thinking it can't hurt having a little more air flow through the radiators.

Yeah I notice the later ZD's don't run one. Stupid idea if you ask me. I would add one if I were you. I added a second one for mine and wired it in so I can switch both fans on even when the a/c is off. Only because I have a kettle for a motor.

Yeah . . . I figure a bit more air flow cant hurt, especially in summer.
And after reading through the forums, a 3" fan over the Inter-cooler too is on the drawing board

Don't bother for the 3ltr. Seriously. You won't need a fan on the IC. I did it on my old 3Ltr and it made zero difference to EGT's. Get a proper air scoop for it. The factory scoop it useless. Im not sure if A.R.E Cooling still make one but I had theirs, fitted up to the factory mounting holes, the scoop was taller to catch more air though.
