TD42 Oil feed from vac pump port passenger side

Hello great people of the internet!

I have a question regarding oil feed from what would usually feed the vac pump on the back of the alternator. As my vac pump in on back of the injector pump this port is currently blocked off with an allen head grub screw. (See attached)

Is there any difference in flow rate or pressure compared to the port behind the engine mount where aftermarket turbos get plumbed into?

Any comments will be much appreciated.

They would be feeding off the same oil gallery and the holes are both the same size so logically they would have the same flow/pressure.

I have my vacuum pump on the alternator on the right side of the engine and I use the oil feed that was designed for the standalone vacuum pump under (not on the back of) the injection pump and it's been working correctly for the last 5 years.

As far as I know...which aint much...you would have to upgrade your oil pump set to change/increase the flow...the ports would flow the same as explained before.

    Cheers

    Cheers fellas.

Not looking to upgrade flow or anything, just want to know if i can use the front one for turbo feed, no need to notch the engine mount unless required.

Maby in the future use the other and return port for a bypass filter setup.
