you know i saw something tonight and it really got under my skin, the person in question, i know, hes not uneducated, i would say hes not stupid, ive seen hes copying and pasting crap on social media which almost none of is factually correct. its just a post designed to get people excited, which creates an upswell of sympathy as some of it is relatable and some is believeable, while almost none of it is factually correct. it dissapoints me that people are happy to just see something that they think agrees with their beliefs and run with it. no fact checking needed. i spent half an hour countering almost every point in this post, out of 13 posts, 11 were not factually correct. shit like this is the reason we are still where we are. and as to point #12, the rest of the world is in envy of Australia right now, we are one of the few countries who had managed to keep a handle on this crap for so long. tow the line, follow the medical advice and we will get out of this crap hole we are in. i want to see my friends again, i want to see my family again, i dont want to be in a forever debate because some dumabsses believed a 10 minute youtube video conspiracy theory that told them covid vaccines were going to kill them/make them infertile/contained unborn foetuses/ had government brain control chips in them/all of the above. I wish we would just get this done and move on with our lives, it's pretty bloody simple.
