The main computer on my 1996 tb42e manual has been cooked some reason. The auto electrician recorded the following identification details on the cooked unit:
Thanks Mudnut. I tried those contacts. The auto electrician finally got a s/h unit from Nizzwreck and he should be installing it today (Friday).
Cheers.

Further to my tb42e ecu saga my ecu situation is better but not fixed! Does anyone know of a competent auto electrician or other, who is based in the Adelaide area, and who could analyse & reprogram the ecus?
The replacement ecu will not let the injectors open for more than 5.6 m/s max.
I still have the original ecu which does not tell the engine to start. I plan to get it repaired then sell it as a working unit.
Regards,
Rhys Jones
Have you managed to fix the cooked ecu? My colleague has a similar issue, the engine starts but doesn't work correctly, no power. The mechanic proposes to replace ECU, but it is not so easy to find another tb42e in my country..
