Diesel Dave's SD33t MQ patrol
Hi diesel Dave here 😁👍. I'm new to the group and I'm here to share and hopefully pick up some knowledge and ideas.
I have just put together my SD33t with 550000 KMs on it. I have heard to not go over about 10 pounds boost unless I do some work to the motor to handle it.
I've removed the blow off valve and wired the waist gate shun then ramped up the fuel pressure then screwed up the boost compensator and now getting 13-14 pounds boost and it's been handling it great but I want more, any ideas on what to do next

G'day from WA...spose it all depends on how much ya wanna spend in the end...
Best hook up with a turbo specialist for any more than you have.
Intercooling will save melting bits...but then you will run out of fuel so injectors and fuel pump will need to be bigger...by that time your turbo will.be maxed out and larger intake and exhaust tubing will be next...by this time you may have blown the pistons out of the crank case so it will be the same all over again...lol
Have fun...Keen to see what you get up to.
