    Yep, as i thought then.

    Bottom line is if you put in two relays (1 for lo beam and 1 for hi beam) for a 12 volt feed to the factory globes, clean the earths near the headlight assy's and leave the IPF relay, piggy back and fuse as is you will get a much better headlamp output.

    You could either DIY or buy prefab off the 'bay as you are thinking of doing.
