    Nissan Patrol V6. Is it very weak?

    I am currently in the market for a new car (moving from 2014 Durango V6). Patrol is high on my shortlist (ease of resale gives it an edge over others in this market). I am inclined for V6 SE Platinum and like the features and the near luxury feel, however am concerned about the engine power (V8 Platinum is expensive by AED 65K and out of my budget). Now I don't want something with monstrous power, however the engine should not feel anemic during daily driving e.g. overtaking on highway, entering busy roundabouts etc. I would really appreciate any guidance / comments from V6 owners or anyone who has had experience driving the Patrol V6.

    Hmmmm. What engine is this? What country are you in? I assume you are talking about a Y62? Sorry I am not aware of a V6 in the range anywhere to be honest.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    OK from your other thread. Your talking about the TB48 which is a Straight 6. This engine has been in the range for over 10 Years and is a Beast of an Engine. Plenty of Stomp. Tough. No hesitation. Goes like Stink.
