What diff do I have?
I naturally assumed it to be the H260 wagon LSD varient with 4.7L capacity, but when I changed the diff oil I was surprised to see it not taking more than 4L (3.7 seems approximately right).
Now I'm wondering if it's a H260 with factory diff lock. There's nothing in the cab to indicate having a diff lock.
This is my first patrol since December last year, still learning about it.
Here's a list of diffs from the 2007 manual

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

How many bolts holding the diff centre in? 11 or 12. 11 is the H233 and 12 is the H260. If you have a diff lock you will have a large control diaphram with a rubber hose attached, mounted to the diff centre.

Another little gem of information... 11 or 12 bolts then you know which diff it is.... instead of relying on the original build plates attached to the vehicle.
Cheers Trevor
