08 3L crd exhaust spitting oil

Got an issue with oil in exhaust.

Had some electrical issues recently with a faulty alternator, glow plug relay and glow plugs.
Got them all replaced at a mechanics, with the rocker cover gasket at the same time.
Haven't been driving it while i have replacing the carpet with vinyl and better insulation, only drove it 1.5 kms from mechanics home.
Started it just then, it smelled of burning oil, found it was spitting oil out of the exhaust.

My question is, would replacing glow plugs or the rocker cover gasket allow oil to enter the chamber? is this normal whilst servicing these parts?
Will it just burn off or have I got a serious problem?

    cheers

Remove the intercooler hose from the turbo. If its oily, like really oily, it will be one of two things. The turbo has blown a seal. Or its oil coming from the crank case breather hose. So to check, remove the intake pipe from the air box to the turbo and check if theres oil coming from where the crank case breather hose joins in.

c/c? Catch can? What type of can is it? Catch cans are supposed to have a bypass setup on them so if the filter is blocked or the can is full of oil, the vapours bypass the can and go straight into the intake.

Definitely help. It spend the coin and buy a decent one with a removable filter. It to have oil coming out of the exhaust is pretty serious. How much oil is in the turbo outlet?

Any oil going into the engines intake cycle should burn? Its a diesel? Any oil getting past the seal into the turbine should stink and come out the end of the exhaust because it never made it thru the combustion cycle in the engine perhaps?

Is the Patrol smokier that normal from the exhaust? And if I'm reading this right. You removed some Hiclones? What about the Energy Polariser?
